NVIDIA has introduced NIM™ Agent Blueprints, a set of customizable AI workflows for rapid development and deployment of generative AI applications in areas like customer service, drug discovery, and PDF data extraction.

Key Takeaways

  • Companies can use NIM Agent Blueprints with NIM Microservices and NeMo Framework to build AI applications that drive data-driven AI development.
  • Accenture, Cisco, Dell Technologies, Deloitte, HPE, Lenovo, SoftServe, and World Wide Technology are among the first partners to deliver NIM Agent Blueprints globally.

On Aug. 27, NVIDIA introduced its NVIDIA NIM™ Agent Blueprints, a new suite of pre-trained, AI workflows designed to assist enterprise developers in deploying generative AI applications for common use cases like customer service avatars, retrieval-augmented generation, and drug discovery virtual screening.

NIM Agent Blueprints provide developers with a robust toolkit for creating AI applications that utilize multiple AI agents. Each blueprint includes sample applications built with NVIDIA NeMo, NVIDIA NIM, and partner microservices, reference code, customization documentation, and a Helm chart for deployment.

Now, Enterprises Can Use NIM Agent Blueprints

Companies can personalize these NIM Agent Blueprints with their business data to deploy their AI solutions across accelerated data centers and cloud environments. NIM Agent Blueprints enable continuous refinement of AI applications based on user feedback, fostering a data-driven AI development process.

This initial release of NIM Agent Blueprints includes a digital human workflow for customer service, generative virtual screening for drug discovery, and multimodal PDF data extraction for enterprise retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). NIM Agent Blueprints are available for free download and can be implemented in production with the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software platform.

According to Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, “Generative AI is advancing at lightspeed. Frontier model capabilities are growing exponentially with a continuous stream of new applications.”

He also commented, “The enterprise AI wave is here. With the NVIDIA AI Enterprise toolkit — including NeMo, NIM microservices and the latest NIM Agent Blueprints — our expansive partner ecosystem is poised to help enterprises customize open-source models, build bespoke AI applications and deploy them seamlessly across any cloud, on premises or at the edge.”

The digital human NIM Agent Blueprint helps businesses prepare for this shift by using a 3D animated avatar to improve customer service.

By incorporating NVIDIA Tokkio technologies such as NVIDIA ACE, NVIDIA Omniverse RTX™, NVIDIA Audio2Face™, and Llama 3.1 NIM microservices, this blueprint offers a more dynamic and engaging customer experience than traditional methods.

This workflow uses NVIDIA NeMo Retriever NIM microservices for enterprise RAG to analyze large volumes of PDF data. With this, developers can quickly develop AI agents, digital humans, or customer service chatbots that can quickly become experts on any topic captured within their corpus of PDF data.

The generative virtual screening NIM Agent Blueprint streamlines drug discovery by generating and optimizing promising drug-like molecules, thus reducing both time and costs.

This blueprint leverages NVIDIA NIM microservices, including AlphaFold2, MolMIM, and DiffDock, to enhance virtual screening in drug development.

Integrating NVIDIA BioNeMo™ tools enables enterprises to seamlessly link multiple NIM Agent Blueprints to develop more advanced AI applications and accelerate their drug discovery process.

NVIDIA is planning to release new blueprints monthly for various AI applications, including customer experience, content generation, software engineering, and product R&D.
